Fan of the Week-Chloe

Today is a very SPECIAL Fan of the Week. This week’s fan is Chloe, find and she is one of my best friends, ampoule and I’ve never even met her in person. The two of us have been pen pals since I was sixteen years old, sickness for NINE years :) We have shared book interests, and movie interests and she has been one of the most awesome friends that I’ve met through the love of books.

Age: 22, from Australia, or in her words, “During uni-times I live in Melbourne, Australia. The rest of the time I live in a country town a couple of hours away.”

How She Found this Blog and Her Favorite Parts About It:

Being a friend of Sara’s, I heard about it from the start from her! I have a love/hate relationship with the book reviews, because they make me want to read new books when I should be studying. And I usually end up reading late into the night because they’re often ridiculously good! I’ve learned to do my homework before I read the new posts on whatanerdgirlsays…usually...

Her Favorite Fandoms:

Lord of the Rings and Phantom of the Opera are my main ones. I also love all music theatre, Harry Potter, Tamora Pierce, Labyrinth, Doctor Who, Cassie Claire, Terry Pratchett, Shakespeare and Monty Python.  Do they all count as fandoms? Whatever!

Her Favorite Quotes:

Well, they change depending on my mood. But at the moment…

“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances, and one man in his time plays many parts.” As You Like It, Shakespeare.

“Pay heed to the tales of old wives. It may well be that they alone keep in memory what it was once needful for the wise to know.” The Lord of the Rings, JRR Tolkien.

Two Interesting Facts About Her:

I once did the biggest bungy jump in New Zealand. I figured I’d probably only do one jump in my life, so I may as well do it well!

When I was 17 I ruptured my Achilles tendon. That’s not the interesting bit though. The interesting bit is that when it snapped I actually heard it go BANG!
