Songs Stuck in My Head Lately

I listen to music a lot. In my car on the way to work – 22 miles there and 22 miles back, in the shower, while I’m cleaning the apartment, while I’m at work. I love music and I’m missing live music so much right now so I’m listening to music even more than I normally do. Here are some of the tunes on repeat right now. HINT – none of it is really new because apparently I’m old and forgot how to find new music?

Sara’s Quarantine Playlist

I’m doing the best I can under the insane circumstances of our world right now to stay as on top of blogging as possible but its SOOO hard when I feel like I’m not reading enough things to keep myself blogging as often. I have been listening to a lot of music and it honestly keeps me going when I’m like, please god, I just want to go to Disneyland or the bookstore or to just sit down at a restaurant. I completely agree with the steps being taken but I miss the outside world BIG time.

I had a playlist that I created for my birthday party back in February – which, weirdly, feels like it was about a thousand years ago. I renamed it “Quaran-tunes” because I guess I think I’m clever and changed the songs a bit and that’s pretty much all I’ve been listening to the past month or so. It has a TON of songs on it but here are some of my favorites on there.

You can scroll to the bottom to listen to the entire playlist!

Frozen on Broadway at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre: A Disney Fan’s Review

If you know anything about me, you know that I absolutely LOVE musicals, any kind, Broadway or not. I do the best that I can to get to as many as I can but they’re expensive so I don’t get to as many as I wish. I was a season ticket holder a few years ago when Hamilton came around, because I wanted to see Hamilton so badly, and that was AMAZING. I definitely want to try and do that again in the future. Anyway, I keep an eye on the musicals that are in town. I knew Frozen was in town and I’ve heard nothing but great things but honestly, I just don’t have the money for it, sadly. Not after Christmas and putting money into my Seattle birthday trip next month.

Music Monday {12}

Music Monday is a weekly post where you can share a song, a music video or anything musical related that you’re feeling awesome about that week. Here on What A Nerd Girl Says, I will almost always share a song that I’m super into that week and the music video, if any, that goes with it!

I feel like I really haven’t discovered any new music lately because I’m the kind of person that listens to the same music OVER and OVER again but I don’t think I’ve ever shared this song before and I super love it. I’m not a huge fan of Tyler Carter’s solo stuff outside of Issues but I super enjoy this song and have it on repeat all the time!

Music Monday {11}

Music Monday is a weekly post where you can share a song, a music video or anything musical related that you’re feeling awesome about that week. Here on What A Nerd Girl Says, I will almost always share a song that I’m super into that week and the music video, if any, that goes with it!

I honestly have been listening to the same playlist over and over again for the past few weeks so I decided to do a throwback music Monday to a song that has been a favorite of mine since I first heard it at maybe…14 or 15 years old and remains one of my favorites.
