San Diego Comic Con: Day Zero

Since I am unable to attend San Diego Comic Con this year, and I don’t know how available I will be to post about the things I hear from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and various websites because my best friend is getting married tomorrow and I am IN the wedding, I’ve decided to share the posts of one of my best nerd friends, Erin, who runs the blog, That One Geek Girl. She’s at Comic Con alllll weekend and she’s SO similar to me, and she’ll be sharing pictures and posts and her experiences of the week. Check her Day Zero post :D

Book of the Week – The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith

When I first discovered last Saturday that J.K Rowling had written a new book, under a psuedonym and it had been widely accepted and hailed as author to watch… I couldn’t even begin to tell you how happy and excited I was. 15 Day Book Blogger Challenge – Day One

So I’ve been trying to think of more ways to be involved with my blog, to write more and to get more out there, and I found this 15 Day Challenge thing on one of the blogs that I follow. It was originally posted on Good Books and Good Wine, so props out to them.

So I’ll be doing a little post on those every day!

Like I said, I just want to be as active as possible with this blog. I want to write as much as I can every single day, because the only way to become a better writer is to write every single day!

Tuesday Top Ten-Favorite Romance Movies

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you all are having great weeks so far. I know that there are many of you gearing up for San Diego Comic Con this weekend (so jealous!) and I am so excited for you guys. My best friend is getting MARRIED this Friday, which is just too crazy to even believe, and I am so excited! I am in the wedding too, along with my boyfriend, so it should be a seriously fun time!

And since there is so much romance in the air this week, at least for me, I decided to make this week’s Tuesday Top Ten with a little bit of romance. That and my dad said he’s tired of all the book top tens haha!

Tammara Webber and Between the Lines Giveaway!

A few weeks ago, I did an interview with one of my absolute favorite authors of all time, Tammara Webber. She is a young adult/new adult author of the Between the Lines series and her standalone novel, Easy.

The Between the Lines series so far is three books, with the fourth releasing in August, and is about the tricky yet enviable life of teen celebrities, in particular, Reid Alexander. Reid Alexander is everything that is a Hollywood actor playboy, and you watch him as he parties and lives the high life…but also lives the low life as well. Reid is the first person I thought of when they were casting Jace Wayland for City of Bones. Of course, Reid isn’t real…so that didn’t really work. The books, the books. They are absolutely fantastic, fun, sexy and also can give you some teary moments as well.
