I’m pretty sure that was the longest title I’ve ever written as the beginning of a blog post.

So I’ve been really super busy this week and I’ve been trying to keep up with the blog and various related social media pages but I’ve had such a busy, fun week so that didn’t totally work out the way that I wanted to. So I’m trying to make up for that now.

Wednesday, I journeyed down to the Americana at Brand, in Glendale, with my sister, Jessica, my friend Deb and my friend Sylvia (from FanGirlFeeels) to meet the cast of Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters at the Barnes and Noble there. We got in line fairly early (oh yes, 5:30 am) to ensure we’d get wristbands, and to try and get wristbands to the advance screening.

This past weekend was the San Diego Comic Con extravaganza in San Diego, California. Comic Con has been going on for over forty years. I have gone before, of course, and this year, I was unable to attend. I was really bummed at this for a very long time, but I was a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding, and honestly, it was an amazing time. I caught the bouquet and it was amazing, and I’m incredibly happy for her.

Since I am unable to attend San Diego Comic Con this year, and I don’t know how available I will be to post about the things I hear from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and various websites because my best friend is getting married tomorrow and I am IN the wedding, I’ve decided to share the posts of one of my best nerd friends, Erin, who runs the blog, That One Geek Girl. She’s at Comic Con alllll weekend and she’s SO similar to me, and she’ll be sharing pictures and posts and her experiences of the week. Check her Day Zero post :D

So I know that I’m not usually a “newsy” type of blog,but I thought I would share this because my blog is so primarily on young adult literature. There are a TON of YA authors heading out to San Diego CC next weekend and I wanted to share all the different panels and autograph signings that would be going on so that those of you who are going can check it out!
