The Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly challenge post previously hosted by The Broke and Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. You can follow along for each weekly post here. This week’s post is about those books – you know, THOSE books. The ones that you can’t put down and you’re stuck to and suddenly its 2 am and you have to wake up for work/school in the next few hours and you know you’re going to feel like poo in the morning but you just can’t stop reading…
THOSE books.
Here are the last ten books that gave me that feeling.

Crave by Tracy Wolff
This book is seriously the topic of my life right now. I don’t know if its because I’m in a serious Twilight mood right now but seriously…I’m absolutely in love with this book. I inhaled it. I consumed it. I devoured it. I can’t wait for this book to come out in April so that everyone can read it because it so rocks.

The Betrothed by Kiera Cass
Kiera Cass always has me clutching the pages and staying up late to see what happens next but this book seriously managed to accomplish this SO well because I had NO idea what was going to happen next and I had to find out and I lost a lot of time and sleep over this novel. I’ll you what though – it was 100% worth it.

The Beholder by Anna Bright
I bought this book on a whim because the ebook was on sales and I *nearly* put it down because the beginning is a little slow but damn, once it picks up, IT. PICKS. UP. and I could not put it down. The romance, the intrigue, the mystery, the tension – agh! I love it. I just got my hands on the ARC for the sequel and I’m so ready for the emotions to tackle me once more.

The Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst
This is another book that I bought on a whim because it was on sale and I was staying up late every night, just totally enamored and fascinated by the world that the author built and I had to force myself to go to sleep most nights because I knew I had to work the next day. Then the ending just left me totally speechless and I wasn’t able to read anything for days. DAYS.

Supernova by Marissa Meyer
Of course I stayed up late and was left like a ragdoll after reading this. I loved the first two books and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. I stayed up LATE reading this book and it was a heavy book to read, both physically AND emotionally haha

American Royals by Katharine McGee
I read this book back in October and I still just can’t shut up about it because seriously, this book is so epic and so emotional and it left me FLOORED at the end of it. I was genuinely just…done at the end of the book and I haven’t needed a sequel in my hand RIGHT NOW as much as this book.

Girls with Sharp Sticks by Suzanne Young
I can’t even begin to describe how incredible this book is. I was 100% sold from page one to the end and I was full of despair when it ended – there was just no way it could happen! I am STILL thinking about this book – the tension and the dark, dark things that happened in it…its terrifying and juicy and so addicting and this stayed with me long after the last page was done.

Like a Love Story by Abdi Nazemian
I for sure 100% know that I stayed up late reading this novel because honestly, how could you not? It was more than just needing to know what happened next – I was 100% invested in these characters and I felt everything they felt. Then when I was done, the emotions were just too much to handle. I’m still recovering from this hangover.

Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas
Want to know how much this book messed me up? One, I didn’t review it – couldn’t muster the emotions to do it. And two, I HAVEN’T READ THE LAST TWO BOOKS YET because I’m just not prepared after that ending! This is the last book that honestly, genuinely left me WRECKED. I need to suck it up eventually and finish but for now…its just too soon…
