Why I’m Waiting:

I’m really excited for this book for two pretty simple reasons.

One, its Maurene. She’s fantastic, her books are so great and she’s always been nothing but absolutely kind to me and I really appreciate that. I have a lot of respect for authors who give aspiring/indie authors like me the time of time, because trust me, that doesn’t always happen, sadly. But Maurene is such a doll, she’s always so genuinely nice and that makes me want to support her every single time she releases a new book and I always do!

Two, every single time I read this brief synopsis, I think of Roman Holiday, with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. I feel like this may a slight retelling of that or even just influenced by it and I am so in for it. That is such a truly fantastic movie and I would love to see a similar story told by Maurene with a K-Pop star and a tabloid reporter. It just sounds so fun. I’m not even sure if that’s what Maurene is even going for but its the vibe I’m getting so I’m READY.
