Re-read because I remember not quite enjoying the book the first time I read it but then when I re-read it, I still didn’t quite enjoy it. Its just not one of my favorites by him. They just announced a movie, using the same team as TFiOS and Nat Wolff as Quentin, and John Green as a producer but meh. I’d rather read An Abundance of Katherines.

As part of the Fierce Reads Street Team, I was assigned Katie Finn’s novel. I quickly learned that Katie Finn is none other than one of my favorite authors, Morgan Matson, and I zipped through this book. I canNOT wait to share this with you all!

I absolutely fell in love with Brandon Sanderson’s Steelheart this year so its time to get on board with his fantasy writing. And its time to get back on actual fantasy. I feel like I haven’t read some in awhile.

This name keeps popping up on my radar so I bought this book. I’m about 100 pages in and I’m certainly intrigued. I can’t wait to see where it heads.

Jon got this for me as a gift so I’m excited to read it. It has incredible authors like Eoin Colfer and Patrick Ness and Neil Gaiman and RICHELLE MEAD. And its Doctor Who. Can you blame me for being STOKED on this one? I’ve barely started it but I’m definitely intrigued. It also reminds me that I need to start watching Classic Who.

No. Just no. I mean, page I’m glad I was able to add an easy book to my list because I’m, like, 7 books behind or something but god was this just so superficial. The idea is great, which is why the show works, but as books, I’m just not a fan.

I literally JUST downloaded this to my Nook so I’m excited to dive into it and read it :) It should be GREAT.

Yeah, shop I re-read it again. I just can’t really explain how much this book means to me. It became one of my favorites of all time SO quickly. I have never read a book like this before, malady that understands the way Harry Potter makes me feel. Cath is me. She’s awkward and unsure but she gets online and she starts to write and she gets lost in the Simon Snow world and it was so beautiful. I felt so connected with Cath, it was ridiculous. So yeah, I read it again haha.

What do you think you’ll be reading next? 

Can I be honest on this one? I have NO idea. I’m in the worst reading slump that I think I’ve ever been in. I have so many books to read and I just can’t seem to read them. I hope after Cress that I’ll be able to read again. Seriously. I would read anything right now just to get back in the groove haha.

Disclaimer before I begin: I wanted to apologize for being so absent lately. I know that I haven’t been so on top of things and I’m going to try to be better at it. I just started a new semester (with a TON of reading; I’m taking a YA literature class), search and I was working two jobs (now down to just one), sales and I got overwhelmed and busy there for a bit.

I also was (maybe still am) going through a serious reading slump. Nothing that I’ve been picking up lately has been interesting or engaging to me at all, not even old favorites. I just finished a book a few days ago, so I’m hoping I’m over this.

Moving on though, to this week’s WWW Wednesday!

I just got this in the mail from my Secret Valentine (Thank you Amber from GrownUpFanGal!) and I’m eager to read it. I’ve heard from lots of people that they liked, and a ton of my followers on instagram said this was the series that got them into dystopian so that’s exciting. Hopefully I have time for it very soon.

I totally remember reading this as a kid but I literally have no memory of it. I know that sounds funny but its true. I remember there being sisters, and maybe some weddings or something but that’s it. This is the first novel I’m reading for my YA literature class, so it counts ;)
