Waiting on Wednesday {50}

This week’s Waiting on Wednesday is the sequel to Jennifer L Armentrout’s surprise release this year, From Blood and Ash – A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire. JLA surprise dropped the new adult fantasy romance this year and it totally blew the minds of old fans and a ton of new fans as well. It left off on quite the cliffhanger so I know that I was not the only one to be SO sad that it would take time before the second book came out. Then…another surprise! The wait would be SO much shorter than before! Even still, I’m still sitting here, anxiously awaiting the sequel!

Top Ten Tuesday – Books with Colors In the Titles

The Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly challenge post previously hosted by The Broke and Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. You can follow along for each weekly post here. This week’s post was originally about books you loved but never reviewed. I know that I have a TON of those but I have 8 years of GoodReads and my blog to go through and I just didn’t want to HAHA. So I decided to do LAST week’s since its been awhile since I’ve done these. Let’s talk about books with COLORS in the title!

What I’ve learned from this is…I don’t read books with colors in the title, apparently LOL

Triple Book Review: Intercepted, Fumbled and Blitzed by Alexa Martin

INTERCEPTED…Marlee Harper is the perfect girlfriend. She’s definitely had enough practice by dating her NFL-star boyfriend for the last ten years. But when she discovers he has been tackling other women on the sly, she vows to never date an athlete again. There’s just one problem: Gavin Pope, the new hotshot quarterback and a fling from the past, has Marlee in his sights.

FUMBLED…Single-mother Poppy Patterson moved across the country when she was sixteen and pregnant to find a new normal. After years of hard work, she’s built a life she loves. It may include a job at a nightclub, weekend soccer games, and more stretch marks than she anticipated, but it’s all hers, and nobody can take that away. Well, except for one person.

BLITZED…According to Brynn Larson, Maxwell Lewis is more trouble than he’s worth. She doesn’t care if he’s a football god with a rock-hard body that brings most women to their knees. After an encounter that ends poorly, she’s not interested in giving him a second chance. The last thing Brynn expects is for him to turn up at her bar months later, hat in hand. It doesn’t matter if he brings more customers to her business–she’s still not going on a date with him.

June Book and Blog Wrap Up and July Goals

So I’ve finally picked up on both reading and blogging this month but its because I’ve basically determined that the only thing that I am capable of reading right now is new adult romance. I can’t get through anything else. So I’ll take what I can get and read that. I also am taking part in Jessica Brody’s 30 books in 3 months challenge, which normally wouldn’t even be hard for me but it is definitely proving to be a little difficult so thank GOD for romance right now haha. I also finally have the blog up and running and healthy and no viruses or weird links or any of that so I’m hoping that sticks too!

I am expecting July to be really slow now that I have Benched edits in my hands but we’ll see…
