2020 Monthly Recommended Reads TBR!
Its 9 days into 2020 and I have a 100 book read goal, as per usual, and I’ve only read one book, which means that I’m already one book behind. And I think a big reason for that is that I’m struggling to find new things to read. I know, I have about a thousand books between my bookshelves and Kindle that I need to read but just none of them are capturing my imagination or interest right now, which is unfortunate. Happy 2020 everyone! Here is to not only a brand new year, but a brand new decade.
My goal for 2020 as far as reading and blogging went was to read 100 books and to blog more and I think I definitely achieved both. I read 100 books – woot, made it under the wire ON December 31st LOL and I definitely blogged more this year than in recent years. I completely revamped the blog and fell back in love with blogging and stopped worrying about follower count or ARCs received or any of that and I’m SOOO much happier.
My big goals for 2020? Much of the same – 100 books read, more blogging and I really want to pour my passion into my new contemporary novel that I wrote for NaNoWriMo in 2019. Its going to be a great year!

Favorite Book of the Month 2019!
Earlier today, I posted my normal Top Ten Tuesday, counting down the ten best books that I read in 2019. I always have a hard time with this list because I read up to 100 books a year and its hard to narrow that down to ten! I also feel bad when I super enjoy a book but I don’t put it on my list. SO, I decided to do a countdown of months and share what book was my favorite for each MONTH of the year. Some of the books might be the same but I’m hoping some authors are highlighted as well.
