Book Review: A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.
Nerd Girl TBR Challenge 2018!
So I recently found out that there are several Bookstagrammers, including the lovely @novelknight as the brains, participate in a thing called the Backlist challenge. I’ve recently wrote out a list of all the books I already own that I need to read, especially since I’m hurting for cash nowadays and need to read books I already own before I continually buy new books! That’s where the TBR challenge comes in!
Book Review: There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins
Makani Young thought she’d left her dark past behind her in Hawaii, settling in with her grandmother in landlocked Nebraska. She’s found new friends and has even started to fall for mysterious outsider Ollie Larsson. But her past isn’t far behind.
Then, one by one, the students of Osborne Hugh begin to die in a series of gruesome murders, each with increasingly grotesque flair. As the terror grows closer and her feelings for Ollie intensify, Makani is forced to confront her own dark secrets.
What A Nerd Girl Says 2018 Goals!
To say that 2017 was an adventure would definitely be an understatement. I had ups, I had downs. I barely wrote a thing until the end of the year and I read only 60 books (compared to a few years ago when I read 209!) This past year was all about learning and growing. In less than two months I’ll be 30 years old. I’m about to leave my twenties and I’m really proud of how I spent that year. I’m learning and growing, and I’m getting braver and stronger. I’m trying new things and making the best of what I’ve both been given in this life and what I’ve worked really hard to earn in this life.
December Book Wrap Up!
It’s January 2nd which means its time to see what I read in December and what I want to read in January!
I have two goals for 2018, to read 100 books and to make a significant dent in the TBR books I already own!
I ended the year at 62 books read, which is significantly less than normal but I read a ton of amazing books. Let’s dive in!
