What Books to Read If You’re Staying In on Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! Halloween just so happens to be my favorite holiday and I feel like this entire month has been a celebration! I went to the new Oogie Boogie Trick or Treat Bash at Disney’s California Adventure, I went back to Knott’s Scary Farm for the first time in 13 years and had a total blast. I have a Halloween party to go to this weekend and I’ll be going to the last day of Halloween Haunt at Universal Studios. I normally feel like I just don’t do enough for my favorite holiday but that is definitely not true this year!

Nerd Girl’s Take on Book Riot’s 50 Must-Read Contemporary YA Novels of the 2010s!

Just about a week, Book Riot put out a list of their top fifty must read young adult contemporary novels of the 2010s. Normally on a Tuesday, I share the weekly bookish meme Top Ten Tuesday from That Artsy Reader Girl. I didn’t particularly like the topic this week – favorite character traits – so I decided I would still post my own top ten. Since its Blogtober, I am determined to post every single day! I wanted today to have a fun little countdown so I’m sharing my favorite animated crushes! I originally did this post back in 2013 and I thought it would be super fun to do it again. Let’s do this!

The Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly challenge post previously hosted by The Broke and Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. You can follow along for each weekly post here. This week’s post is all about books that have numbers in the title. Its kind of amazing how that happens….

I did my best to do books one through ten but it was hard and I may have cheated a little bit LOL
