Hello! My name is Sara. I am 34 years old, Mexican-Irish, short, liberal, tattooed, loud, proudly bisexual, and a total cat lady. I love reading, writing, eating cupcakes, watching baseball, listening to music, binging all the good TV stuff and running. I live in Southern California physically but my mind is always in a fictional place. My debut novel, The Awakened, was released in December of 2015, and was my first successful NaNoWriMo novel. The sequel, The Sanctuary was published January 2017. Both books were relaunched in June 2020. My debut new adult romance, Benched, was released in September of 2020.

I am currently working on a young adult fantasy called Legacy and Struck Out, the sequel to Benched.

I'm not okay. I'm struggling every day. I'm constantly on the verge of tears or I'm actually crying. I wake up sad and go to bed sad. I'm trying to distract myself as much as possible, throwing myself into work and deep cleaning the apartment and reading all the HEAs.
I haven't really known what to post other than what I've been sharing on my stories and on the blog.
Tonight I attended my first book event since before the pandemic and it was so fun and such a joy and it was such a mini reunion with some of my favorite people. I am beyond excited to read Robin Benway's new release, A Year to the Day - it's so sure to make me cry. And I'm so happy I finally got a physical copy of Abdi Nazemian's The Chandler Legacies, which I read as an arc ages and ages ago. It was such a beautiful night to talk writing and books and was the perfect way to officially kick off summer. Here's to hoping for more book events soon!!!
Representing one of my favorite girls today. Cant wait for the next episode!! What do you think of Ms Marvel so far?!
Happy Fathers Day to the best dad this world has ever created. I have no idea what my life would be like without this awesome, hardworking, supportive, loving dad and I'm glad I don't have to know. Love you, Dad!!!
Mission. Accomplished!
