Yesterday, I recapped meeting the awesome, nerdtastic, fabulous John Barrowman and his equally awesome sister, Carole Barrowman. John Barrowman is mostly known for his acting work, but he and his sister have worked together to create the Hollow Earth series, a middle grade adventure series that focuses on twins, Em and Matt, who have super powers that involve their imagination and drawing skills.
As of this time, I am about half way through the first book and I am really enjoying it. It is perfect for the middle grade level, eight to 12 years old but I think anyone older can also enjoy it as well. It has a sort of Harry Potter/Percy Jackson vibe going on, with the adventure and kids with extraordinary powers. I’m really enjoying it.
Now I’m passing it along for you guys to enjoy it as well. I grabbed an extra copy of Hollow Earth and had both Carole and John sign it, just for you guys! I am so awesome, right?
