Sara’s Top Ten Animated Crushes

Normally on a Tuesday, I share the weekly bookish meme Top Ten Tuesday from That Artsy Reader Girl. I didn’t particularly like the topic this week – favorite character traits – so I decided I would still post my own top ten. Since its Blogtober, I am determined to post every single day! I wanted today to have a fun little countdown so I’m sharing my favorite animated crushes! I originally did this post back in 2013 and I thought it would be super fun to do it again. Let’s do this!

What A Nerd Girl Says Revamp!

I am so excited to share the brand new What A Nerd Girl Says today!

If you’re reading this in your email or on Tumblr or something, make sure to follow the link to this actual post so that you can see how new and pretty the blog looks!

I’m really proud of how everything looks and I’m excited to see what new ventures will come my way with this blog. The amazing Jenniely designed my new banner and I’m so happy and satisfied with it – this blog needed a revamp so badly and I really like all the changes that were made.

There are a lot of new things that are coming this way – potentially a podcast and new segments and a new offshoot – A Nerd Girl Gets Fit. I’ll be keeping the same familiar feel of the blog because this has always been a passion project, less a project to make myself famous or rich or anything, so I’ll stick with the things that make me happy.

I hope you all will continue sticking with me and I hope you all like the new look! Its scary to make changes and its terrifying to move forward but I’m excited about my new ventures and I hope you are too!

Let me know what you think of the changes in the comments!

It would create new goals for me, new ambitions and new obsession. Because its become such an important part of my life, I want to talk about it. I thought about talking about it on this blog but it just never felt right – it felt too personal and while I’m personal on this blog, I’m not THAT personal. So I’m introducing my new endeavor.

Book Review: Yes No Maybe So ARC by Becky Albertalli and Aisha Saeed

Jamie Goldberg is cool with volunteering for his local state senate candidate—as long as he’s behind the scenes. Maya Rehman’s having the worst Ramadan ever. Going door to door isn’t exactly glamorous, but maybe it’s not the worst thing in the world. After all, the polls are getting closer—and so are Maya and Jamie. Mastering local activism is one thing. Navigating the cross-cultural romance of the century is another thing entirely.
