Music Monday: “Dangerous” by Before You Exit

“Dangerous” by Before You Exit

This is for my sister, find Dink. Because I can’t get this damn song out of my head lol.

Ooo woah

I fell in love with a criminal
She stole my heart and I didn’t know
She got me hooked after just a touch
Like ooo she’s so dangerous

She got me locked up
Tossin’ the key
Even if I tried to run she wouldn’t let me leave
This could be love
How could that be
I’m fallin for a perfect little heaven of a thief
Bringing me down, unhealthy but bringing me up
Not the type of girl that you would ever wanna trust
Like ooo she’s so dangerous

She’s got a first time kiss that’ll lock you in
She’s gonna break your heart but you can’t resist
I know that I just met her, I know I should know better
Oooo she’s so dangerous

I thought she was just so innocent
And from the start I was giving in
She’s such a wreck and I can’t forget
That ooo she’s so dangerous

She got me locked up
Tossin’ the key
Even if I tried to run she wouldn’t let me leave
This could be love
How could that be
I’m fallin for a perfect little heaven of a thief
Bringing me down, but bringing me up
Not the type of girl that you would ever wanna trust
Like ooo she’s so dangerous

She’s got a first time kiss that’ll lock you in
She’s gonna break your heart but you can’t resist
I know that I just met her, I know I should know better
Oooo she’s so dangerous

She’s gonna let you down but you’ll take her back
She’s just a one way trip to a heart attack
I know that I just met her, I know I should know better
Oooo she’s so dangerous

Was just a shot in the dark
Now, I don’t know where it will land
I let her tear me apart, yeah
I wish it never began

She’s got a first time kiss that’ll lock you in
She’s gonna break your heart but you can’t resist
I know that I just met her, I know I should know better
Oooo she’s so dangerous

She’s gonna let you down but you’ll take her back
She’s just a one way trip to a heart attack
I know that I just met her, I know I should know better
Oooo she’s so dangerous

Oooo she’s so dangerous
Oooo she’s so dangerous

Music Monday – “Dial Tones” by As It Is

“Dial Tones” by As It Is

I’m pretty sure I already did this song but its just…its SO good and I can’t get it out of my head and its helping me write lately so I decided to share it.

It really hurts to know that I’m why your bed’s half empty
Why you sleep alone or just stare up at your ceiling
And if you’re a mess, and god knows what that makes me
‘Cause the weight from all my guilt is all too much for me to carry
I’m sorry
Am I all that you never wanted?
Or has it been so long that you’ve forgotten?
All we ever share are dial tones (dial tones)
Take your caution or take your chances
I’ll mend your heart and break it in the same breath
All we ever share are dial tones (dial tones)
I’m getting more of what I’ve always wanted
But becoming less of who I’ve ever been
‘Cause I promised myself I’d never hurt you and I did
If you can’t trust a liar, how can you trust me again?
I’m running out of ways to say I’m sorry
Forget me like you know you want to
Forget me like you know you have to
It really hurts to know that I’m why your bed’s half empty
Why you sleep alone or just stare up at your ceiling

Music Monday – “Nightmare” by Set It Off

“Nightmare” by Set It Off

My very first book is releasing tomorrow, The Awakened. I am so insanely excited and anxious and nervous and excited about this. This is literally every single dream come true right now and I can’t wait to celebrate with you guys tomorrow. I had to share this with you guys for the Music Monday because it had SUCH a huge influence on this novel and it helped me get the inspiration to finish it! I like to call this song the unofficial theme song of The Awakened so I hope you enjoy listening to this.

They’re coming, viagra dosage creeping from the corner
And all I know is that I don’t feel safe
I feel the tapping on my shoulder
I turn around in an alarming state
But am I loosing my mind?
I really think so
Not a creature in sight
But what you don’t know is that

My breathing gets faster
And so does my heartbeat
I wish this was over
I wish that this was a dream but

I created a monster, store a hell within my head
Nowhere to go, I’m out on my own
Oh I’m so scared
I created a monster, a beast inside my brain
Nowhere to go, I’m not on my own
My mind impaired to wake me from my nightmare

Wait, something doesn’t feel right (feel right)
No, something seems wrong (wrong)
And I’ve been feeling this way (oh that’s too bad), for far too long
As my vision gets blurred, my skin’s getting colder
Appearing young, while I’m growing older
I collapse to the floor and scream:
“Can anybody save me from myself?”

I created a monster, a hell within my head
Nowhere to go, I’m out on my own
Oh I’m so scared (oh, oh I’m so scared)
I created a monster, a beast inside my brain
Nowhere to go, I’m not on my own
My mind impaired to wake me from my nightmare

Walking to the ledge, I find myself looking down
Frozen still with fear, now I’m plunging to the ground
If only I knew how to fly, then I could convince myself
This isn’t my time to die
Instead I’m rocketing faster and faster
I dive, fall to the floor
And when my body crashes to the pavement
I’m right back where I was before

I created a monster, a hell within my head
Nowhere to go, I’m out on my own
Oh I’m so scared

I created a monster, a hell within my head
Nowhere to go, I’m out on my own
Oh I’m so scared, no, no
I created a monster, a beast inside my brain
Nowhere to go, I’m not on my own
My mind impaired to wake me from my nightmare

(I’m so scared) Awake me from my nightmare

Music Monday – “Around the Clock” by The Rocket Summer

Around the Clock by The Rocket Summer

Dance until we just can’t, viagra 100mg
Keep clapping our hands to the songs
And get dancing around to the joyful sound that the band plays
As his smiling face just shines away, viagra it’s moving through town as big as a train
April, May, June and July we’ll hang outside
August and February all the time
Talking our way through March
Hanging out always ’til this starts
Over and over again, you promise that it won’t end
So I will try to find the rhyme to thank you again

How I, I am not into the idea of living without you
And I, I am not into the idea of being without you
And no, this won’t be a sad song
There’s gonna be claps and singing along
‘Cause sad song’s about now well, that would just feel wrong

Beautiful colors that came from you
So this one goes out to the reds and yellows and blues
And of course I cant forget, all the beautiful colors on the day that we first met
So I will never know the right way to say thanks
for all the nights and days you spent hanging out
‘Cause that’s what this is about

How I, I am not into the idea of living without you
And I, I am not into the idea of being without you
And no, this won’t be a sad song
There’s gonna be claps and singing along
‘Cause you’re there when you talk and you’re there not to stop and you’re with me

Around the clock, you are, you are
Around the clock, yes you are
Around the clock

And just so ya’ll know everyone else is not
so I, I am not into the idea of living without you
And I, I am not into the idea…
And no, this won’t be a sad song
There’s gonna be claps and singing along
‘Cause you’re there when you talk and you’re there not to stop
and you’re with me around the clock

Music Monday – “Fourth of July” by Fall Out Boy

“4th of July” – Fall Out Boy

(You and I were, salve you and I were fire.
You and I were, more about you and I were fire.
You and I were, cure you and I were fire, fire, fire)

It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks
That went off too soon
And I miss you in the June gloom, too
It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks
I said I’d never miss you
But I guess you never know
May the bridges I have burned light my way back home
On the fourth of July

I’ll be as honest as you let me
I miss your early morning company
If you get me
You are my favorite “what if”
You are my best “I’ll never know”

And I’m starting to forget
Just what summer ever meant to you
What did it ever mean to you?

Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean any of it
I just got too lonely, lonely, whoa
In between being young and being right
You were my Versailles at night

It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks
That went off too soon
And I miss you in the June gloom, too
It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks
I said I’d never miss you
But I guess you never know
May the bridges I have burned light my way back home
On the fourth of July

My 9 to 5 is cutting open old scars
Again and again ’til I’m stuck in your head
Had my doubts, but I let them out
You are the drought
And I’m the holy water you have been without

And all my thoughts of you
They could heat or cool the room
And no, don’t tell me you’re crying
Oh, honey, you don’t have to lie

Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean any of it
I just got too lonely, lonely, whoa
In between being young and being right
You were my Versailles at night

It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks
That went off too soon
And I miss you in the June gloom, too
It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks
I said I’d never miss you
But I guess you never know
May the bridges I have burned light my way back home
On the fourth of July

I wish I’d known how much you loved me
I wish I cared enough to know
I’m sorry every song’s about you
The torture of small talk with someone you used to love

It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks
That went off too soon
And I miss you in the June gloom, too
It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks
I said I’d never miss you
But I guess you never know
May the bridges I have burned light my way back home
On the fourth of July
