Now, I love you all, my readers. And I don’t ask much of you, or anyone for that matter. But desperate times call for desperate measures.

You all know that I love to write, and it is my passion in life.

Now it’s time to turn that hobby and passion into something real and something something concrete.

I am currently working on a second novel…but I’ve already published a first novel, Another Chance for Summer, in the Kindle store. And I’ve wanted to get it actually published for quite some time now. And it’s not easy. I’ve gotten about a hundred million rejection letters. And it gets frustrating and annoying and just downright discouraging. So I’ve decided to make matters into my own hands and just publish it on my own.

I don’t know if any of you know anything about self-publishing, but it is NOT cheap. Especially on a poor, broke college girl living in Southern California’s salary. We’re talking roughly 500 to 1500 dollars to publish this!

But that doesn’t keep me down.

I have a plan and it’s called Kickstarter.

Kickstarter is a website where you can start a project, where its recording an album, starting a book of your photography, starting a clothing line or, yes, publishing a book, and you can ask people to help fund the project.

That is what I am doing.

It’s officially up and ready to go, just click here. It is up and running until September 13th, 8 pm Pacific time zone. I am asking for 500 dollars…and I have to reach all 500 dollars or I won’t get any of the money at all.

Now I’m not asking for a lot but every dollar helps…a dollar, two dollars, five dollars, whatever you can give!
