“Dear Cassandra Clare” to be Featured on Shadowhunter Stelecast!

I have some SUPER exciting news to share!

The awesome people behind the podcast, Shadowhunter Stelecast, is bringing us on their weekly Wednesday night show this Wednesday to promote the Cassandra Clare project.

For those of you who may not know what that is, check it out here. If you are a TMI or TID fan, you will DEFINITELY want to check out this project.

Luckily enough, the girls behind Shadowhunter Stelecast heard about our project and wanted to share it on their podcast this week, to talk all about our project and hopefully get the word out to more people about how super awesome it is, and how you can all be a part of it.

So this Wednesday night, 6 pm PST (to find out what time that is in your time zone, click here), us girls from iFandoms Collide will be promoting our project :). Tatiana (from City of Shadowhunters) and I will be on air for the actual podcast and Megan (from Megan’s Mouth Speaks) and Sylvia (from FanGirlFeeels) will be live tweeting the events at the official iFandoms Collide twitter.

Now, where can you listen to this awesomeness?

The podcast will premiere on Shadowhunter Stelecast’s radio page, right HERE, again at 6 pm PST on Wednesday, May 8th.

We really hope you guys are able to tune in! As soon as its posted on their page, I’ll share it here, so those of you who may have missed it, will be able to listen!

Shadowhunter Ink-Showing Permanent Love for The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices

One thing that I’ve noticed in my nerd adventures is that we aren’t afraid to show the love we have for the fandoms that we love. I have seen permanent ink on people’s bodies for the coolest fandoms and I’ve been stoked to share mine back with them.

But I’ve never met anyone who had a Mortal Instruments or Infernal Devices tattoo.

And I thought to myself, that can’t be. I can’t be the only one, no way!

So I went on a search for some fellow Shadowhunters who had tattoos like me :)

And here is who I found! Check it out!

Fandom Friday-Lost

Hi guys! Welcome to the Fandom Friday! This is the weekly post where either myself, or a guest blogger, talks about a new fandom. See, I’ve had the experience in my life where I’ve been made fun or put down about my particular fandoms. And that has made me feel pretty crappy. But I’ve also put down other fandoms as well.

So I’ve decided to change that. I’m opening my world up to new fandoms, and the best way to do that is to bring people in to write about various fandoms. We’ve had one about the Mortal Instruments/Infernal Devices written by me, and one on The Big Bang Theory as well, written by Jackie, the brains behind Seeking Bazinga. Last week’s post was by Kathleen, talking all about manga. You can expect more from the Fandom Friday, like My Little Pony, Battlestar Galatica, Star Trek, Comic books, and so much more. I’m very excited about this segment.

This week’s Fandom Friday is by Crystal, all about J.J Abram’s popular show, Lost. Read all about Crystal here:

Book of the Week-Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour

Hey guys! How’s everyone’s week so far? I hope its good. Everything is going pretty well over here in WhatANerdGirlSays corner! Its nice and sunny and beautiful in California right now and I hope that means summer is nearing because I am SO ready for it! So many exciting things to look forward to this summer.

So today is the Book of the Week, and I haven’t read anything NEW this week. I re-read Divergent because I was a little bit on a Divergent high from meeting Veronica Roth and I’m giving away a signed copy of Divergent, so I was rereading that. Now, I’m in the middle of re-reading Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour and I remembered again, what a great book this is and what a great summer read it is too.
