Waiting on Wednesday (22)

This week’s Waiting on Wednesday novel is Meg Cabot’s newest adult novel, coming this fall. I am always in for a brand new Cabot release, as I’ve been following her since I first picked up The Princess Diaries in 2000, nearly 19 years ago. I’m super excited for a new adult book by her – I’ve always always been a big fan and she’s one of the few authors that I read adult books for haha!

Top Ten Tuesday – Characters I’d Like To Switch Places With (But, Like, Not Permanently…)

The Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly challenge post previously hosted by The Broke and Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. You can follow along for each weekly post here. This week’s post is all about characters that you’d love to switch places. I love that there’s the added clarification of “but not permanently” because, yes, as much as I would love to be these characters for a day or two, usually their lives are upside down and inside and out and I’d probably skip out on having those problems permanently haha!

Music Monday {6}

Music Monday is a weekly post where you can share a song, a music video or anything musical related that you’re feeling awesome about that week. Here on What A Nerd Girl Says, I will almost always share a song that I’m super into that week and the music video, if any, that goes with it!

This is a song I’ve had on repeat the past few weeks since Set It Off’s new album released. I really love the mix of voices on the song and I think its a great song. I’ve been skipping a lot of the songs on my playlist lately but I can’t stop listening to this one, I always stop to listen and sometimes even repeat it.

She is a fabulous writer and an even more fabulous person and I am so grateful to count her as one of my friends.
