One of the best parts about running this blog is having the ability to meet some really cool people, and some of the coolest people that I have met have led me to really cool blogs. I’ve said it before, no one’s blog is 100% original but everyone’s voices are different so there are blogs that I love to read because I love the writer, and I love the passion that they show for what they are writing. They are fun and interesting to read and they inspire me to get better and better in my blog.

So I decided to do a feature (inspired by Megan at the Nerdy Girlie’s Geek Girls Gab), where I profile the bloggers that I love. Not only do I get to find out more about them, but I also get to share them with you guys! Most of the bloggers that I follow are like me, nerd girls, fan girls and they enjoy the same things as me, and you! Every blogger that I profile is one that is super important to me and I urge you to check them out!

Sara: Tell me a Little Bit About Yourself:

Eilidh: I love to read and write, I also spend a lot of my time pretending I’m famous and dating someone famous (this is normally Jamie Campbell Bower, of course!). My favourite book is The Mortal Instruments: City of Glass. My favourite place in the world is Disneyworld in Florida and my favourite city is San Francisco! My hobbies are playing loads of sports and planning trips around the world!

Sara: Tell me about your blog: 

Eilidh: My blog is run with my parabatai, Sarah (twitter.com/TMI_TID_UK) and Daisy (twitter.com/tmibritian). We update our site as soon as any news comes out regarding Cassandra Clare and her books OR any movie news!

Sara: What inspired you to start your blog?

Eilidh: Sarah and myself had noticed there wasn’t really a site in that was specifically for British Shadowhunters. A lot of sites run competitions that is just for the US and we wanted to give the opportunity for British Shadowhunters to join in as much as they could.

Sara: What is your favorite nerd memory?

Eilidh: This is a really hard question!! I have 3, because it’s so hard for me to pick.
1. When Cassie followed me on twitter!
2. When Kevin Zegers tweeted me.
3. When my amazing friends from LA decided to surprise me and get Robbie Sheehan to sign a book from me – I cried so much my eyes were so puffy my dad thought I had reacted to something!

Sara: What are you most looking forward to, as far as new books/movies/etc?

Eilidh: New books would have to be Allegiant (Divergent series) and OF COURSE City of Heavenly Fire! I’m also looking forward to any books coming out by JL Armentrout!! As for films, City of Bones and Divergent, as well as The Fault in Our Stars. I also am looking forward to Obsidian to go through the film-making process!! So exciting!

Sara: As my blog is mostly about books and reading, what are some of your favorite books or authors to read? 

Eilidh: My two favourite authors are Cassandra Clare and JL Armentrout. My favourite book is The Mortal Insruments: City of Glass… closely followed by JL Armentrout’s Covenant Series. (I love that series SO much!!)

Sara: What are some of your favorite blogs to follow? 

Eilidh: WhatANerdGirlSays, City of Shadowhunters, FanGirlFeeels. I also keep up with the LuxenArmy and ClubFandemonium a lot. TMI Source is always on my list and I also love My Hunger Games to keep me up-to-date with other fandoms, iFandomsCollide is also great for the mixture of fandom culture

Sara: Who is your fictional crush (what, we’re nerd girls, we all have one!)

Eilidh: Easy! Jace from the Mortal Instruments, of course. Even Will holds a strong place in my heart, as does James. I think I’m just a Herondale girl through and through! But I do love Aiden St Delphi from the Covenant Series too!
