Tuesday Top Ten-Characters Names that I’d Steal for My Children

Now, this week’s Tuesday Top Ten is a little different than what I normally do.

People often times ask me where I get my names for my characters, and honestly, it mostly comes from the baby name book or a baby name website. I like kind of…different names, not weird just different.

But often, it comes from names that I wish I could name my future children.

And then that got me thinking about the different names that I like from books. I tend to try and name my pets after book characters and I would really like to do the same when I eventually have children (my boyfriend is SO rolling his eyes right now as he reads this…). I’m not talking weird names, for the most part. I like nice, normal names.

Tuesday Top Ten – Book Deal Breakers

So some of you may know, and may have seen on Facebook, but my computer is done. Dead. Its completely dead. I can’t get it to turn on and it sucks! I’m literally only a few weeks away from getting my financial aid for school, when I was going to buy myself a new laptop for school and for, of course, this blog. Now, I’m a little bit in trouble until I get my new computer and its nearly impossible to write a blog post from my phone. Not the way I do it.

Tuesday Top Ten – Books I’d Like to See as a TV Show/Movie

One thing that I have noticed in the past few years, especially in the last year, is that so many of the books that I enjoy to read have either been made into the movie or TV show, especially in the young adult genre. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Twilight, Hunger Games and Beautiful Creatures have already been made into movies. The Vampire Diaries is a very successful TV show. CIty of Bones, Divergent, Catching Fire, Ender’s Game and more are coming out in the coming months, and even more movies are being filmed and being written for the big screen.

Now, I was thinking, even though most movie and book adaptations aren’t perfect and they don’t turn out the way you wish they would, its still fun to see the characters and worlds you’ve come to love come to life on screen.

So I made a list of the top ten books I’d like to see as a TV show or movie. Some of these have been signed on, but we haven’t seen much more than that. So some are “Oh, I wish it would happen” and some are “please I hope this happens some day SOON!”

Tuesday Top Ten-Favorite Romantic/Sexy Scenes!

Apparently I am in a super romantic mode right now because I am continuing the romantic Tuesday Top Tens. I got the idea for this one from my dear author friend, Erin Albert, who read last week’s top ten and suggested something very similar to this one that I am doing right now.

I liked the idea because there are so many movies and books, TV shows, etc, where you wait and wait and wait for that moment, the moment that we’ve been building up to for way too long and when it finally happens, you want to squeal with happiness. Or there are those scenes that surprise you out of no where and you’re suddenly blushing. I love it. I love that a book or movie can make you feel that way and so I’m counting down some of my absolute favorite moments.

Tuesday Top Ten-Favorite Romance Movies

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you all are having great weeks so far. I know that there are many of you gearing up for San Diego Comic Con this weekend (so jealous!) and I am so excited for you guys. My best friend is getting MARRIED this Friday, which is just too crazy to even believe, and I am so excited! I am in the wedding too, along with my boyfriend, so it should be a seriously fun time!

And since there is so much romance in the air this week, at least for me, I decided to make this week’s Tuesday Top Ten with a little bit of romance. That and my dad said he’s tired of all the book top tens haha!
