Tomorrow is my two year anniversary with my boyfriend. Technically we started dating in December of 2016 so its been more like 2.5 years BUT April 9th is our official anniversary, the day we decided to take the plunge, make it official and laughed when all of our friends were like, “duh!” when we told them lol.

This week’s song is from a band that I’ve listened to on and off since I was ten years old. No Doubt’s album, Tragic Kingdom, was the first CD I ever bought, so it has a meaning for me and I listened to that CD until it was worn and scratched. I am picking this song because of my recent obsession with the movie, Captain Marvel, and the significance of that song in the movie.

So, as I’ve mentioned lately, I’ve been listening to a LOT of Disney music lately, especially at work. We have Pandora set up at work to be our hold music and we can play it on speakerphone while we are working and its great. My bosses let me put it on Disney Pandora and its all great. Well, a song popped up one day and, while its not from a Disney film, I was truly blown away by WHO sang it and how freaking WONDERFUL his voice is.

This is a song I’ve had on repeat the past few weeks since Set It Off’s new album released. I really love the mix of voices on the song and I think its a great song. I’ve been skipping a lot of the songs on my playlist lately but I can’t stop listening to this one, I always stop to listen and sometimes even repeat it.

A few weeks ago, I went and saw Panic! at the Disco in concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim and it was incredible! We got there early, even though its assigned seats, because I like to be early and because I love to listen to opening bands. That’s how I often discover my favorites. I’m glad we did this time because we got to hear Betty Who, who was simply amazing. I’ve had this song stuck in my head since then. She’s playing in LA later this year and I may go and see her because she was so electric live!
