The Sunday Post is a weekly post hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. This is a chance to wrap up the week and share what has happened. Continue on to read about what I’ve read, blogged, watched, listened to, played, written and experienced in the last week. I share any current giveaways or recent interviews! You can also take a peek at what’s to come in the next week!
Books
I have just started King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo. I have had an insanely busy week so I’m hoping to finish it soon because…
On the Come Up by Angie Thomas comes out this Tuesday and I really want to read that book after!
I also hope to finish my reread of Blood Promise by Richelle Mead. I had forgotten how slow it is in the beginning and I’m eager to get the fun, juicy parts.

Favorite Quotes of the Week
I didn’t finish any books this week so I have no favorite quotes this week. I didn’t share a quote from Shadow Kiss last week though so here you go!
“Because its that simple. I love you, and I don’t want to keep pretending like I don’t.” – Shadow Kiss, Richelle Mead
The following quotes are all ones that I’ve absolutely loved so far in King of Scars.
“No book ever lost patience with him or told him to sit still.”
“Matthias, your country can kiss my fat Grisha ass.”
“She needed a hot bath, a plate of waffles, and about twelve hours of sleep.”
“She could wither a man’s balls just by raising a brow.”
“What would she have done without Inej to give her purpose? Or Jesper to make her laugh? Even that little bastard Kaz had done his part, ruthless to the last.”
“One could plot violent espionage and still hope for dessert.”

Watched
Still working on Game of Thrones! Rewatched the Red Wedding for the first time since I originally saw it years ago and it still totally sucks to watch. Its just such a heartbreaking scene. Ugh, I’m feeling sick to my stomach just thinking about it, ha! I also have watched Prince Oberyn and King Joffrey die in the last week. A lot of deaths in my television watching recently.

Listened To
I’m on a HUGE Disney kick right now. I used to have a Disneyland pass – for about 12 years actually – but can’t afford it anymore and I miss going. I tend to get a lot more nostalgic for it around this time of year because its ALMOST my birthday, which means its almost time to go. I’m lucky enough that my dad works there now and gets me in on my birthday every year and its fantastic :)
So, to satisfy my Disney craving until the 27th of February, I’ve been listening to an instrumental Disney playlist at work. You can listen to it here on Spotify.
Also Set It Off‘s brand new album, Midnight, released Friday, February 1st and it is AMAZING. I haven’t stopped listening to it and its definitely worth checking out, even if you’ve never heard them prior to this! You can check out one of the songs at the link above for last week’s Music Monday!
