Cover Reveal: Waylaid (True North Series) by Sarina Bowen

I am SOOOO excited to be sharing the cover reveal for a book that I’m equally excited to read once it releases in June! I am a HUGE fan of Sarina Bowen and recently took a deep dive into her True North series back in December and was so sad when I caught up and finished book seven. I’ve been enjoying the spin-off books by Sarina and other awesome authors but I’ve been dying to get back with Shipley family and so I was so pleased to learn that there would be a book eight!

TRUE NORTH SERIES

This will be the eighth book in the True North series, taking place in a farm town in Vermont. While you don’t technically need to read the first seven to understand book eight – they are all written to be read as standalones – I highly recommend reading the entire series. The series focuses, for the most part, on the Shipley family and their close friends on their apple orchard/farm/etc in Vermont. Each book tells a different love story and each book is absolutely fantastic. I read all seven – at the time – books in roughly a few days because I was SO hooked. I highly recommend checking out the ENTIRE series but let’s learn more about this book and check out the new, awesome cover!

WAYLAID – BOOK EIGHT IN THE TRUE NORTH SERIES

It’s a tale as old as time: the bad boy meets the good girl. He makes a daring proposition. Then the boy gets a mysterious head injury and loses a year of his life…

The first time I meet Rickie, I don’t know what to make of him. The second time we meet, he doesn’t remember the six hours we spent together. Or standing me up afterward.

I’m not the same, either. I’ve got secrets. I’ve told lies. Bad boys aren’t my type, anyway. Even the ones with troubled gray eyes.

But now we’re roommates. Cue the awkward moments in the hallway when he’s wearing only a towel and a smile. He’s determined to win me over, and his talented hands weaken my resolve.

It’s all fun and games until my past rears its ugly head and his secrets come to light, shaking our fragile connection, maybe even breaking it…

Note: this is Daphne Shipley’s story. Contents include Vermonty ice cream flavors, nerdy awkwardness, tattoos, and a playboy grandpa.
