I am not a cosplayer. That makes me sad but honestly while I can come up with all kinds of cute and fun ideas in my head, actually executing them is way beyond my capabilities. Most of my imagination and creativity lies within my own brain and then translated into words, either on this blog or in a story. Waiting on Wednesday (14)

This week’s Waiting on Wednesday is the sophomore novel to her amazing debut, what is sure to be a fantastic release by the super sweet and awesome Aminah Mae Safi. Of course, I was always signed up for a new book by Aminah but once she said that it was basically a fan fiction of Rory and Paris from Gilmore Girls, I was 100% on board. I am so excited to see what this book brings!

Episode Review – Doctor Who Season 11, Episode 3 “Rosa”

This past week’s episode of Doctor Who – the third of the season – took us on a trip into the past and across the pond to Montgomery, Alabama in 1955, just a day before Rosa Park refuses to give up her seat on the bus and launches a movement. The Doctor and her companions are pulled there, of course, because there’s someone who wants to stop Rosa from doing this. Something about this moment starts something that our villain does not like and The Doctor, Ryan, Graham and Yaz must get all the pieces in place to make it happen. There were some mixed feelings, it seems, when it came to this episode but let’s jump in and find out what I thought.

Waiting on Wednesday (13)

This week’s Waiting on Wednesday is a novel that I’m still working my butt off to get an ARC of because I am SO insanely excited about – Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell. Just picture it now  – Les Miserables in SPACE. I know, I’m sold too. Honestly, the novel sounds incredible and Jessica is a great writer and I can’t wait to get my hands on that book. AND THAT COVER!
