This week’s post is about authors you’d love to meet. I feel bad because I’ve met a LOT of authors in the past – due to the prime luck I’ve had in living in Southern California my entire life – but there are definitely authors that I have yet to have the opportunity to meet yet and here we are.

This was actually genuinely hard. I’ve been so so lucky to meet so many authors that I struggled to find ten authors that I hadn’t met and wanted to.

After the amazing month that I had in August, I’m a little disappointed in myself for the month of September – I did NOT read as many books and I reread most of them. I did make SOME progress though, especially making it through Queen of Shadows, which gets me further in my quest to catch up before the release of Kingdom of Ashes. My reread count, however, was much much higher than my new books. I’m still WAY ahead on my goal for this year though so…its all good!

Also apparently I need to read a lot of books in October so I better get that done because November is all about NaNoWriMo! AGH!

Today’s Waiting on Wednesday post is all about Marissa Meyer and her sequel to the epic Renegades, Archenemies. I was hoping so much to get an ARC of this book but alas, it was not in my favor. So because of that, it is definitely one of my most anticipated book this fall!

I am so excited to be a part of this blog tour for A Heart in a Body in the World. Deb is one of my favorite authors – she is able to write such emotional and compelling stories. My favorite of hers, A Nature of Jade, came at a perfect time and helped me to face my own struggles with mental illness. She is also one of the absolute sweetest authors that I’ve ever had the chance to meet in person.

Today’s Waiting on Wednesday is all about the newest addition to Brandon Sanderson’s young adult resume, Skyward. I adore Brandon Sanderson as a person and know that he is very loved for his adult fantasy but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for his young adult fiction, and so I’m excited for this release that comes out in just a month and a half!
