Update! AKA I’m Not Dead…Yet ;)

I just wanted to peek out really quick and let you all know that I have not disappeared – I’ve been very busy lately and I’ve been bad at keeping up with blogging and bookstagramming but I’m working hard to get back to it, for sure. I’m also working really hard on a spinoff of this blog, to tie in my fitness instagram account, and my journey with losing weight, going to the gym, getting in shape, and handling my diabetes. I thought about adding it to this blog but I want to keep the different social media aspects of my life both together and separate. I’m still working it but I’ll be posting all about it once its up!

In the meantime, I’m in the WORST reading slump and could super some help getting out of it. If you guys have any advice or any books that you know will get me outta of this slump, please let a girl know!

Miss you guys! Hope you’re all reading awesome things!

Blog Tour: Happy Release Day – What They Don’t Know by Nicole Maggi – Guest Post and Giveaway!

I am so excited to be kicking off this very personal and very exciting blog tour to celebrate the release of Nicole Maggi’s brand new novel, What They Don’t Know. It comes out today and I’ve made it clear over the past few months since I’ve read it how important it is to me, how great the book is and how I truly think everyone should read it. You can read my review, my interview with Nicole back in May and a personal post on why you should read the book.

Today is all about the book and getting to know Nicole, the book and a GIVEAWAY, so let’s jump in already!

The Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly challenge post previously hosted by The Broke and Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. You can follow along for each weekly post here. This week’s post is about authors you’d love to meet. I feel bad because I’ve met a LOT of authors in the past – due to the prime luck I’ve had in living in Southern California my entire life – but there are definitely authors that I have yet to have the opportunity to meet yet and here we are.

This was actually genuinely hard. I’ve been so so lucky to meet so many authors that I struggled to find ten authors that I hadn’t met and wanted to.

September Book Wrap Up!

After the amazing month that I had in August, I’m a little disappointed in myself for the month of September – I did NOT read as many books and I reread most of them. I did make SOME progress though, especially making it through Queen of Shadows, which gets me further in my quest to catch up before the release of Kingdom of Ashes. My reread count, however, was much much higher than my new books. I’m still WAY ahead on my goal for this year though so…its all good!

Also apparently I need to read a lot of books in October so I better get that done because November is all about NaNoWriMo! AGH!
