The Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly challenge post previously hosted by The Broke and Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. You can follow along for each weekly post here. This week’s post was originally the top ten outrageous things I’ve done for the love of books. I couldn’t quite think of ten things so I modified it a little to top ten ways I know that I’m a book lover.
Music Monday {9}
Music Monday is a weekly post where you can share a song, a music video or anything musical related that you’re feeling awesome about that week. Here on What A Nerd Girl Says, I will almost always share a song that I’m super into that week and the music video, if any, that goes with it!
Tomorrow is my two year anniversary with my boyfriend. Technically we started dating in December of 2016 so its been more like 2.5 years BUT April 9th is our official anniversary, the day we decided to take the plunge, make it official and laughed when all of our friends were like, “duh!” when we told them lol.
March Books and Blog Wrap Up and April Goals!
Welcome to my monthly recap, where I recap the previous month and share my reading goals for the next month! I used to just strictly share what books I’d wanted to read and what I’d read but I am trying a new thing where I share all the posts from the month as well, in case you missed anything and want to catch up! Let’s see how this goes.
Top Ten Tuesday – Things That Make Me Pick Up a Book
The Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly challenge post previously hosted by The Broke and Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. You can follow along for each weekly post here. This week’s post is the top ten things that make me pick up a book! This was actually kind of a hard post to do and I was unable to even think of ten reasons I pick up a book!
Boyfriend Book Review: The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
The Boyfriend Book Review is a recurring column here on What A Nerd Girl Says. My boyfriend, Daniel (read his bio here), is a reader as well. He suffered from what a lot of male readers suffer from – they only read white men! Well, of course, that didn’t really work with this Nerd Girl and he has been making a journey through my massive YA collection. Now we’ve started this column together, to review books that I’ve most likely already reviewed so that we can get a male perspective on it. We hope you enjoy!
Event Recap: Ontario Teen Book Fest, March 9th 2019!
I am so behind! But here it is, a few weeks late, but still here. A few weeks ago was my favorite event of the year, the Ontario Teen Book Fest. I’ve been attending this wonderful event since 2013 and have participated in many different capacities, from the official blogger and blog tour organizer to moderator and featured author. This year was no different and I was so excited to come back, organize the blog tour and moderate a super fun panel with fantastic authors!
